At 2 Wheels Greater Manchester we’re starting to get all revved up for Ride to Work Day - Tuesday, June 10.
It’s the annual day when motorbike and scooter riders show the world how convenient powered two-wheeled transport can be.
On Ride to Work Day the biking community commutes to work on their bikes, runs errands, does the shopping - or just enjoys a ride through town as they showcase the joys of riding in a high-profile campaign that always catches the media’s eye.
In the run-up to Ride to Work Day we’ll be posting more messages about the day as we encourage more workplaces to think how they could make life easier for those employees who ride to work.
We’ll also be letting non-riders learn more about the advantages motorbiking brings to both the rider and to our towns and cities, including cutting pollution and easing congestion. We’ll also show non-riders how they can play their part in keeping the biking community safe.
