2Wheels Greater Manchester (2WGM) is asking riders to share their top safety tip as part of a new competition.
The competition, which is open to all riders in the Greater Manchester area, aims to provide 2WGM with a greater insight into what riders feel is important to them.
It launched on 27 January – and runs until Sunday 27 February.
Those who share their top tip will automatically be entered into a prize draw. Three winners will be selected at random and will receive an Amazon voucher of £100, £50 and £25 respectively.

The 2WGM team works in close partnership with local authorities and businesses to provide motorcyclists with useful safety information and advice.
Statistics show that motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users. However, there are a number of practical steps that can be taken to reduce risk.
These include:
- Wearing the right gear to protect you in the event of a crash
- Making sure you understand the rules of the road
- Ensuring your bike is properly maintained
- Receiving the right training to learn how to ride safely
The launch of the competition coincides with 2WGM’s attendance at the Manchester Bike Show (29-30 January).
2WGM hopes to use the event to engage with more riders, highlighting the work it does in the local area.
